Dayanand College of Law Latur arranged a one day visit to Bombay High court, Bench at Aurangabad on 27/09/2023, in which forty students and 3 faculty members actively participated.
Students had a fruitful interaction with Hon’ble Justice Mangesh Patil in a coordial atmosphere. Students could freely interact with Hon’ble Justice who shared his experience as a judge, his journey to the present Status , the hard work, dedication required to achieve a certain status in the judiciary. Only Law and nothing else is to be considered while delivering a judgement. He also discussed on various other legal aspects. It was a great experience and students were thrilled about the new experience.
Hon’ble Registrar and Deputy Registrar provided all necessary help by providing escorts to all the departments and students were provided information about importance of each department and their working. Students were taken to different Courts to watch the court proceedings, who were able to understand the procedures of the higher Judiciary and how different it is from the lower courts.
They were able watch the top Lawyers in action and also the qualities to become a successful and top Lawyer in the higher Judiciary.
Students were able to interact with the alumni of the college who are now practicing in the Aurangabad Highcourt.
An opportunity was provided to interact with some eminent Lawyers.
Faculty was provided an opportunity to interact with the Registrar of the Court who welcomed the college team and provided all the help during the visit and also promised to provide such help and facilitate future visits.
It was totally a new learning experience for the students.
The students and the accompanying faculty expresses its gratitude to Dr. P.P. Nathani I/c Principal for her initiative in arranging such a visit.
Such visits are an essential part of a student’s growth as a complete professional where students learn the skills of drafting , filing , arguments, Court etiquettes etc. , through participation.

Hon’ble Shri Shivkumar Dige, Justice High Court of Bombay visited Dayanand College of Law Latur on 22.09.23. Dr. Poonam Nathani, Principal, extended warm welcome and expressed the gratitude for his valuable time and presence. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss matters of mutual interest and cooperation between our institution and the judiciary system for the betterment of students. He expressed the willingness of the judiciary to support educational initiatives. Specific ideas for collaboration, such as guest lectures, moot court competitions, and internships, were explored. He gave greetings to the staff and students and wished for continuous growth of the institution.

दयानंद विधी महाविद्यालयामध्ये आज कंपनी सेक्रेटरी या विषयाच्या अनुषंगाने परिचर्चा संपन्न झाली. कंपनी सेक्रेटरी सर्विसेसमध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांना प्राविण्य संपादन करण्यासाठी त्याचबरोबर या क्षेत्रामध्ये गुणवत्ता पूर्ण प्रवेश करण्यासाठी विद्यार्थ्यांनी या विषयाच्या अनुषंगाने संपूर्ण तयारी करणे आवश्यक आहे. या क्षेत्रामध्ये प्रावीण्य संपादन करण्यासाठी प्रामुख्याने दोन ते तीन प्रकारच्या परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण होणे क्रमप्राप्त असते. त्याचबरोबर या परीक्षांमध्ये केवळ उत्तीर्ण होण्याऐवजी गुणवत्तापूर्ण यशस्वीता अंगी बाणवणे अतिशय महत्त्वाचे मानले जाते. ही गुणवत्ता सर्वार्थाने अंगीकारण्यासाठी विद्यार्थ्यांनी या विषयांमध्ये प्रवेश करून योग्य पद्धतीने मार्गदर्शन घेऊन अभ्यास करावा, अशा पद्धतीचे प्रतिपादन दयानंद वाणिज्य महाविद्यालयातील प्राध्यापक सुदर्शन लड्डा यांनी केले. ते दयानंद विधी महाविद्यालयाने “सेक्रेटरी एज अ करियर” या विषयाच्या अनुषंगाने आयोजिण्यात आलेल्या परिचर्चेमध्ये प्रमुख अतिथी म्हणून बोलत होते. मंचावर परिचर्चेचे अध्यक्ष म्हणून दयानंद शिक्षण संस्थेचे कोषाध्यक्ष माननीय संजयजी बोरा हे उपस्थित होते.
अतिथींचे समुचित स्वागत करणे ही भारतीय संस्कृतीतील जगनमान्य रीत आहे. या रीतीनुसार कार्यक्रमारंभी मंचावर उपस्थित अतिथींचे मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते यथोचित स्वागत करण्यात आले. दयानंद विधी महाविद्यालयाने आयोजिलेल्या या परिचर्चा समारंभाचे अध्यक्ष माननीय संजय बोरा, कोषाध्यक्ष, दयानंद शिक्षण संस्था, लातूर यांचे स्वागत दयानंद विधी महाविद्यालयाच्या प्रभारी प्राचार्य डॉक्टर पूनम नाथांनी महोदया यांनी, तर समारंभाचे प्रमुख अतिथी प्राध्यापक सुदर्शन लड्डा यांचे स्वागत करियर गायडन्स सेलचे समन्वयक प्राध्यापक डॉक्टर एन. डी. जाधव यांनी बुके देऊन केले. पाहुण्यांच्या यथोचित स्वागतानंतर दयानंद विधी महाविद्यालयाच्या सन्माननीय प्राचार्या डॉक्टर पूनम नाथांनी यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना प्रेरणादायक ठरेल, असे विचार मांडले. या मांडणीत त्या म्हणाल्या की विद्यार्थ्यांना शिक्षणाबरोबर व्यावसायिक शिक्षण त्याचबरोबर व्यावसायिक शिक्षणातील कौशल्ये संपादन करणे, यशस्वीतेच्या दृष्टीने अतिशय महत्त्वाचे आहे. जीवनात यशस्वी होण्यासाठी विद्यार्थ्यांनी योग्य वेळेला योग्य अभ्यासक्रमाची निवड करून योग्य तो निर्णय घेणे यशस्वीतेच्या दृष्टीने अतिशय महत्त्वाचे असते, असेही त्या पुढे बोलताना म्हणाल्या.
कंपनी सेक्रेटरी सर्विसेस या परिचर्चेमध्ये सहभागी झालेल्या अतिथींच्या सत्कारा नंतर प्रमुख मार्गदर्शनपर कार्यक्रमाला आरंभ झाला. या समयी मंचावर अध्यक्षस्थानी विराजमान झालेले दयानंद शिक्षण संस्थेचे कोषाध्यक्ष माननीय संजय बोरा आपल्या अध्यक्षीय भाषणात विद्यार्थ्यांचे उद्बोधन करताना म्हणाले की, आता जग झपाट्याने बदलत आहे. आपल्या जीवनाची क्षेत्रे वाढत, विकसित होत आहेत. त्याचबरोबर आपल्या कामाची क्षेत्रेही विलक्षण पद्धतीने वाढत- विस्तारत आहेत. हे जग स्पर्धेचे आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांना या स्पर्धेच्या जगामध्ये टिकून राहण्यासाठी त्याचबरोबर जीवनात यश संपादन करण्यासाठी केवळ व्यावसायिक शिक्षण घेऊनच
सज्ज होणे एवढे अपेक्षित नसून त्यातील कौशल्येही संपादन करणे अतिशय आवश्यक आहे, असे ते म्हणाले.
यानंतर कंपनी सेक्रेटरी सर्विसेस या विषयावर आयोजिलेल्या परिचर्चेचे प्रमुख अतिथी प्राध्यापक सुदर्शन लड्डा यांनी परिचर्चेमध्ये सहभागी झालेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांना विषयाच्या अनुषंगाने अभ्यासपूर्ण मार्गदर्शन केले. आपल्या अभ्यासपूर्ण व ओघवत्या शैलीत आपले विचार मांडताना ते म्हणाले की, आज ज्ञानाचे क्षेत्र प्रचंड प्रमाणामध्ये वाढत चालले आहे, एवढेच नसून ज्ञानाच्या क्षेत्रामध्ये विविध विषयांच्या अनुषंगाने नवनवीन भर पडत आहे. जग झपाट्याने बदलत आहे. विद्यमान यंत्र युगामुळे आपल्या जीवनालाही यंत्रांचा वेग प्राप्त झाला आहे. या गतिमान युगामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांना आपले उत्तम व्यक्तिमत्व बनविण्यासाठी प्रयत्नांची पराकाष्ठा करावी लागते. याचबरोबर त्यातील कौशल्येही संपादन करावी लागतात. आज यंत्र युग चालू आहे असे म्हणत असताना रोज नवनवीन कंपन्या उदयाला येत आहेत. त्यामुळे या कंपन्यांमधून सेक्रेटरी म्हणून निर्माण होणारी पदेही मोठ्या संख्येने उपलब्ध होत आहेत. या क्षेत्रामध्ये जाणाऱ्या उमेदवारांची संख्या त्याचबरोबर कौशल्यपूर्ण रीतीने या क्षेत्रामध्ये उतरणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांची संख्या कमी आहे. म्हणून या वाढत्या कंपन्यांमध्ये सेक्रेटरी पदाच्या नव्याने निर्माण होत असलेल्या जागा प्राप्त करण्यासाठी आपण स्वयंसिद्ध झाले पाहिजे, अशा शब्दात त्यांनी सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांना संबोधित केले.
दयानंद विधी महाविद्यालयाने आयोजिलेल्या या समारंभाचे सूत्रसंचालन दयानंद विधी महाविद्यालयातील प्राध्यापिका स्वाती पाटील यांनी केले. हा कार्यक्रम यशस्वी करण्यासाठी करियर गायडन्स सेलचे समन्वयक प्राध्यापक एन. डी. जाधव सर यांनी विशेष प्रयत्न केले. हा समारंभ यशस्वी करण्यासाठी दयानंद विधी महाविद्यालयातील प्राध्यापक डॉक्टर सचिन माने यांनी सर्वतोपरी सहकार्य केले. प्राध्यापक श्याम पाटील यांच्या आभार प्रदर्शनानंतर कार्यक्रमाची सांगता झाली. या समारंभाला दयानंद विधी महाविद्यालयातील बी एस एल. एलएल. बी. एलएल.एम. या पदव्युत्तर वर्गातील विद्यार्थी वर्ग,संस्था पदाधिकारी, विधी महाविद्यालयातील प्राध्यापक वृंद, शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी, व निमंत्रित मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होते.

The occasion was graced by two esteemed guests:

Dr. P. S. Igve – Renowned as the Best Teacher Awardee and former Vice Principal of Dayanand Science College Latur.

Dr. Pramod Mane – Academic Co-ordinator at Dayanand Science College Latur.

The presence of these distinguished guests added an extra layer of honor to the celebration.

Dr. P. S. Igve, with his extensive experience and expertise, has been a source of inspiration to educators and students alike.

The alumni association held a meeting on 22 August 2023, at 4:00pm.

The meeting took place in the principal’s office and was chaired by Advocate Ashish ji Bajpai, a Senior Advocate from the District and Session Court in the Latur.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss preparations for an upcoming NAAC pear team visit.

Senior advocates from the Latur District Bar Association participated in the meeting.
Advocate Naresh Kulkarni, Vice-president, Alumni Association, extended a warm welcome to all the alumni members present at the meeting. The President, Alumni Association & Secretary of the Latur Bar Association expressed their commitment to supporting the college in any way possible.

Principal Dr. Poonam Nathani, provided valuable insights into the college’s development plans and progress.

Dr. N.D. Jadhav, Coordinator Alumni Association, shared information about the ongoing activities of the alumni association, highlighting its contributions and achievements.
The meeting concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by advocate Shri Rajendra Laturkar, expressing gratitude to all attendees these for their participation and contributions.

Interaction with justice Prasanna – 18.03.23
Hon’ble Chief Justice Shri Prasanna Varale, Chief Justice, Karnataka High Court, Bangalore, a proud alumnus of the college visited along with his better half. During his interaction with the students who were present in large number to witness the historical moment recollected his moments and memories during his days in his alma Mater.
Hon’ble Justice Shri S.G Dige, also alumnus of the Institution remember his student days in the Alma mater both the dignitaries stressed on the part that the students from the rural areas also can reach the top levels in the Judiciary with hard work and dedication.
Hon’ble Justice Mangesh Patil also the son of the soil advice students and gave some important tips on developing legal language and interpretation of law to succeed in their law career.
Justice Vrushali Joshi also interected with the students on important aspect of legal study and Judiciary. Hon’ble Management members were present during the occasion and made the event a memorable one. Students benefited from the expertise and experience of legal luminaries.
